I'll stop daydreaming!

Killing is part of the profession. They wouldn't have signed him up for the wrong reason. Remember, he was trained to make ready for some purpose; without working out the details for a stradgy, that calls for a "split second" to think right. It's a job that has many questions of "whys" in it.

Soon, he'll be shifted up higher, in position, and rank, just a little after the investigation.
