WALTHAMSTOW: Murder victim died of single stab wound
A MAN who was murdered in Walthamstow High Street on Sunday died of a single stab wound to the neck, a post mortem has revealed.
Police now believe they know the identity of the victim, but are talking to his family and have not released his name.
However, police have confirmed they believe he is 26 years old and from Grenada in the Caribbean.
A man and a woman were seen runnng from the murder scene, near the High Street junction with Hoe Street, shortly after the attack, which happened at around 11pm.
Detectives are examining CCTV images and a murder weapon has not been found.
